Open Mail, go to Settings (or Preferences), and click Accounts.
Select your email account from the left sidebar and click Server Settings.
Under Incoming Mail Server, change the Host Name to mail.8vamail.com.
Under Outgoing Mail Server (SMTP), click the account pop-up menu or dropdown and select Edit SMTP Server List.
Select the server, go to Advanced, change the Host Name to mail.8vamail.com, verify port 587 (or 465) with SSL/TLS enabled, and click Save
Open Outlook and click File > Account Settings > Account Settings.
Highlight your email account and click Repair or Change.
Under Incoming mail and Outgoing mail, update the server fields to mail.8vamail.com.
Click More Settings and go to the Outgoing Server tab.
Check the box for My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication, with the radio button selected, “Use same settings as my incoming mail server“.
Go to the Advanced tab, verify incoming port is 995 with SSL checked, set outgoing port to 587 and set the encrypted connection type to TLS. Click OK, then click Next, then click Finish.
Open Thunderbird and click the menu icon to select Account Settings.
Click Server Settings under your specific email account name on the left.
Change the Server Name field to mail.8vamail.com and change the port to 995. Enter your full email address as the Username, set the Connection security to SSL/TLS and the Authentication method should already be Normal Password.
Click Outgoing Server (SMTP) at the bottom of the left sidebar.
Highlight your outgoing server, click Edit, and change the Server Name to mail.8vamail.com.
Set the port to 587; connection security to STARTTLS, and authentication method to normal password. Enter your full email address as the Username and click OK.
Open the Settings app on your iPhone.
Scroll down and tap Apps, then Mail, then tap Accounts.
Tap your specific email account from the list.
Scroll down and tap SMTP under the Outgoing Mail Server section.
Tap the Primary Server, change the Host Name to mail.8vamail.com, enter your full email address as the Username and enter your password
Turn on Use SSL; set the server port to 587 and tap Done or Back
Under Incoming Mail Server, update the Host Name to mail.8vamail.com.
Change your username to your full email address, keep the password the same. Tap Advanced at the bottom of the screen.
Under Incoming settings, turn on Use SSL. Change the server port to 995.
Tap Done or Save to verify and update the account settings.
Tap the back arrow to go back to the previous screen.
